Letter from the President, Michael Deluise
Like
most Long Island business leaders you're
likely looking to discover more in your business and in your life outside of
the office. We can help you do
that. There is actually a group within the Melville Chamber of Commerce that
will lead you to a special treasure that will make your efforts most worthwhile.
If
you have not met Michele Michael who heads up the Chamber's Young
Professionals Group then allow me to introduce you to a great woman who can
help you discover something very special about the
Long Island business community - the extremely capable and extraordinarily
talented young executives who are the secret weapon that places those who do
business here far beyond their competitors who do business elsewhere.
Michele
is the Director of Commercial Sales and Leasing at MGM Islandwide Realty, Inc.
an outstanding member of the Chamber. That is her paying job and she does it
very, very well. Somehow Michele has also found the time to lead and mentor a
terrific group of young men and women who are proving there is great talent in
the Long Island business community. There is
no doubt the future of Long Island is set as
long as we can help these wonderful professionals grow and stay with us.
Get
ready for the First Annual Hunt Long Island, presented by your Melville Chamber of
Commerce. On Saturday, September 25, the
Young Professional Group of the Melville Chamber of Commerce will help all of
us discover the treasures we are surrounded by. With a most worthy mission of raising $50,000 in
support of the not-for-profit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the 110 Corridor and
the surrounding communities will be filled with the excitement created by teams
of youthful and very energized executives who will spend the entire day
participating in an entertainment field day challenges and exploration. There
will be entertainment, contests, music, stars and great fun throughout the day.
No
matter how old you feel you may appear to be, the Young Professionals invite you
to celebrate your youth and join them as
a sponsor of a team, a treasure hunter, spectator or the host of one of our
many highlighted stops the teams will make throughout "The Hunt".
