Spearheaded By The Young Professionals Group

 

In conjunction with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Melville Chamber of Commerce and The Young Professional Group are planning “The Hunt’’ a unique fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010.  This event features a series of clues that will lead teams on a Hunt in and around the Route 110 corridor, from Amityville through Huntington Village; stopping at different locations, finding items of interest; taking pictures; participating in challenges and answering trivia questions; collecting points along the way. “The Hunt” will be followed by a celebration at 300 Long Island, 895 Walt Whitman Road, honoring the Finest traditions, landmarks, companies &  individuals on Long Island.

 

"THE HUNT" provides an opportunity for the Chamber and everyone involved to gain positive visibility in the community while supporting a great charity.  The Chamber’s Young Professional Group is spearheading the event and The Chamber has made a commitment to raise $50,000.

 

  1. We invite everyone to support THE HUNT in one or more of the following ways:

    Nominate a young professional from your company as an Honoree for THE HUNT  (click here for nomination form) Honorees are socially active community members who commit to raising $2500 for cystic fibrosis research.  Honorees can be self nominated or nominated by their peers by completing an Honoree Nomination Form
    Honorees will be recognized as one of Long Island's Finest with publicity through inclusion in promotional literature, website, signage, press releases and e-blasts as well as at the event.  
     
    Form a Hunt Team:  (click  here to go to THE HUNT website) Hunt teams consist of a Team Leader and (4) additional Team members.  Each Team Member is responsible for a minimum of $75.00 which can be donated or raised through fundraising.
