Michael Haltman and Adam Markel, Esq. formed Hallmark Abstract Service, located centrally on Long Island in Jericho. One partner is a real estate attorney with an extensive transactional background and the other is an MBA in finance who worked early in his career as an analyst of housing bonds and then as owner of a firm that financed commercial real estate transactions.
If your practice involves residential or commercial real estate transactions, you know that steering clear of any potential stumbling blocks and getting a deal closed is critical! At Hallmark Abstract Service our goal is to ensure, 100% of the time, that the title portion of any transaction will be seamless so that our clients can focus on the other aspects of a deal.
While title insurance premiums are set by law and don’t vary from firm to firm, Hallmark Abstract Service differentiates itself from the pack through non-insurance fees that are extremely reasonable and through the one thing that money cannot buy which is attention to detail, friendly and courteous staff, a corporate philosophy of 100% accuracy and finally service, service and then more service!
Hallmark Abstract takes great pride in being cutting edge in terms of new issues that are continually cropping up particularly in the area of foreclosures. It is critical that a title firm know of any new decisions that could have any impact on its clients and their clients!
Due to the fact that Hallmark has the base of knowledge that it does, the firm has participated in teaching continuing legal education (CLE) on the subject of the impact the foreclosure crisis may have on the practice of law. In addition the partners have appeared on radio shows as far away as San Francisco to discuss foreclosures. At Hallmark our philosophy is very simple.
